Refrigerator Recycling
How it Works
A spare refrigerator or freezer left operating in your home is guzzling energy and costing you additional cash every month.
For a limited time, Oncor is encouraging consumers to turn in extra refrigerators or freezers for recycling and receive a $50 payment per unit, up to two units per household. Oncor makes it easy for you -- we pick the unit up at your home.
Oncor has partnered with Appliance Recycling Centers of America to operate this program in your community. These units will be dismantled, recycling as many parts as possible thereby reducing landfill space.
