Commercial and residential builders should contact the New Construction Management Center (NCMC) for electric service requests.

There are four stages of construction in which builders can all for the most convenient installation of electric service laterals. The stage of construction for each premise should be given to NCMC when requesting new electric service.

Builders are encouraged to request temporary and permanent account numbers or an Electric Service Identifier (ESI ID, pronounced "Easy ID") from Oncor before calling their competitive retailer for service initiation.
